My 9th shoot! I decided to use daylight and shadow to create a lighter mood within my images. The colour adds more detail in the natural form compared to the darker images I have taken previously.
-
another image from my 5th photoshoot.Trying to keep them all portrait. My concept is still looking at perception of an image and now looking at the technique of ‘Black Mirrors’. Obscuring the focus of the subject without editing it.

my second shoot i did at the weekend. I decided to take my mirror for a walk and experiment using natural forms and man made objects. I guess I am now moving towards the idea of transformation of an image…

Have decided to experiment with ice-using macro lens.still coming up with a suitable explanation though…

Puddle Thinking
Imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, “This is an interesting world I find myself in, an interesting hole I find myself in, fits me rather neatly, doesn’t it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!”
This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, it’s still frantically hanging on to the notion that everything’s going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise.
I think this may be something we need to be on the watch out for.(Douglas Adams) -
My final major project on Perception…some new images I took playing around with mirrors, water and paper to create the illusion of outer space or what do you as the viewer interpret it as?
-
another possible image I could use which I took last night of the MASSIVE snow storm we had last night (um yer right..) but instead of snow it reminded me of hair for some reason.
-
some sample shots for my FMP based on the idea of ‘Perception’ of how we interpret/see images.what illusion does it give us? although I still havent entirely decided my subject..at the moment its linking to my project back in 1st year? on object and objectivity…
